An Amazing Spiced Apple Martini

·
real deal appletini

Yes, I know it’s a MONDAY and I usually share a cocktail recipe on FRIDAY, but it’s summer. And in summer one has the risk of losing track of days, losing track of time, losing track of her children. (OK that only happened once). In summer, we have the freedom to mix it up a little…to go wild and do things out of order (like have pancakes for dinner).

So here we are, on a Monday, and I have another fabulous cocktail recipe from my friends over at G-Free Foodie.

Now this cocktail is known as The Real Deal Appletini. It’s got spiced rum, good quality apple juice and cinnamon infused simple syrup. KC firmly believes that a real apple martini shouldn’t be florescent green, and I have to agree. I think it tastes just like apple pie. And with all the Independence Day celebrations coming fast upon us, you can’t get much more American than apple pie, right? Cheers!

If you loved this apple martini as much as I did, here are some more drink recipes that are sure to leave you wanting more:

Real Deal Apple Martini

K.C. Cornwell
This apple martini by KC of G-Free Foodie is the real deal, not that sickly green version so often served in bars. Rich and spicy, it almost tastes like a slice of apple pie. Cheers!
