This fresh watermelon cake is a truly impressive, yet truly simple dessert to make. All you need is a few minutes, and a freshly sharpened knife, and you’re well on your way to making this adorable summer treat! Here’s how to make it:
Step 1
Cut off the ends of a medium sized watermelon.
Step 2
Stand the watermelon up on one of the cut ends, and using a sharp knife, cut off the rind all the way around the sides of the watermelon. Take your time here so you can make a nice round cake shape.
Step 3

Step 4
Add summer berries on top of the whipped cream, along with edible flowers, flag picks or other festive touches. Serve immediately.
